So I wrote my dissertation on media & modernism, everything from cinema to carbon paper & file cabinets. I'm probably way too interested still in histories and theories of reading. I really enjoy writing for magazines & the web, but I miss teaching. I grew up in Detroit, MI and live in Philadelphia, PA. I have a BA in Mathematics and read about modal logic for kicks. I will argue with anybody about anything if there's enough coffee, and usually we end up figuring something out.
