I’m a first-year MLIS student specializing in archives at San Jose State University. I work full-time as a Circulation Specialist at the American University Library and volunteer weekly at the Smithsonian’s National Anthropological Archives. My interest in the everyday lives of people — how they experience life, how they make sense of their world — led me to specialize in archives. I hope to uncover and share narratives from the margins, using emerging technologies to expand the visibility and accessibility of archival materials.
