I am currently a Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR) fellow for scholarly communications at Bucknell University, where I am implementing a new institutional repository, leading Bucknell's Open Access programs, and conducting research on faculty publication practices. Prior to joining Bucknell, I was the Lead Research Anthropologist for the Ethnographic Research in Illinois Academic Libraries (ERIAL) Project, a a two-year ethnographic study of student research processes at five Illinois universities that included over 600 participants. In addition to my work in libraries, my academic research focuses on citizenship practices in the European Union, Poland, and Germany.
