MA in medieval art (Courtauld) and an MLIS (Simmons), with a background in special collections, rare books, and art libraries. I'm really fascinated with the materials of books: types of leather, decorated endpapers, etc. I want to use DH tools to promote & enhance our understanding of rare & unique materials.

Currently I'm a reference librarian at Dumbarton Oaks Research Library & Collection. I split my time between the rare books collection and the research library, and am responsible for creating exhibits on-site and online. Our institution has recently started using Omeka - I made a few exhibits on omeka.net and then we proceeded to set up Omeka proper - and I have a lot to learn. I also like Zotero and look forward to learning about new gadgets and gizmos that I can share with our patrons.
