I am a PhD Candidate in Professional Writing and New Media, and while I am decent at first-person shooters, I pretty much stink at Words with Friends. Because I love games, I decided to tie my doctoral work to them as much as I possibly could. Plus 5 fun points for me! Along the way, I've figured out that my true home is in the field of Technical Communication, researching different forms of networked interaction and production through games that encourage user-generated content.
